Recently we hiked up Loon Lake Mountain, which stands at 3328 feet and has a new trail that is about 3 miles long (one-way). It was a snowy day and we actually had the trail all to ourselves. There is a 35-foot fire tower at the summit, but is closed due to it being unsafe. However, on a clear day, you will still find views off to the south and east as the summit is opened up in those directions.
