High Peaks Winery

High Peaks Winery is located in the northern foothills of the Adirondack Park. If you’re traveling from north of the park or just want to enjoy a good wine slushy, stop by this hidden gem in Winthrop, NY. High Peaks Winery has a wide variety of wines from sweet to dry. If you have a favorite you can grab a glass or if you want to test out a few flavors they offer a flight (you can choose your flavors). What they’re best known for is their wine slushies, especially on a hot summer day. There are three flavors in rotation and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can mix two flavors together. High Peaks also offers a rotating beer selection, most recently the Mango Wheat by Raquette River Brewing.

High Peaks Winery also offers an outdoor patio with plenty of seating and games like cornhole. If you don’t want to spend time outdoors or if there is inclement weather there are a handful of seats at the bar and some high tops in the tasting room. High Peaks offers a few board games and is dog-friendly inside and out!
