Work With Us

A few select partnerships each year with brands, tourism groups, and local businesses that love the Adirondacks as much as we do.

Built from the trails, rivers, and summits of the Adirondacks

PureADK started as a love letter to the place we grew up. From the High Peaks outside Lake Placid to the quiet bogs, fire towers, and backcountry lakes scattered across six million acres, our work is rooted in real time spent in the Park — camera in hand, paddle in the water, feet on the trail.

That firsthand connection is what we bring to every partnership. Whether it's a tourism board looking for fresh imagery, a brand that fits the Adirondack story, or a local shop ready to expand online, we only take on projects where we can genuinely add value.

Ways to Work Together

Four areas where a partnership with PureADK can move the needle. Everything is project-based and considered case-by-case.

Photo & Video Licensing

Access a growing library of Adirondack photography and video — from High Peaks summits and golden-hour paddle footage to drone work over iconic ADK landscapes.

  • Tourism boards & regional marketing
  • Editorial & publication use
  • Brand campaigns & web content
  • 4K video, photography stills, and drone footage available
Best for destination marketers, regional publications, and brands with an ADK story to tell.

Custom Creative Work

Drone-forward photo and video shoots, shaped around your brand and the place. Limited capacity, so we're selective — but when the fit is right, we can deliver something that actually feels like the Adirondacks.

  • Drone photo & video (our primary focus)
  • Lifestyle & location photography
  • Referrals to trusted collaborators for larger video productions
  • Graphic design via a trusted ADK illustrator partner
Remote/ADK-based work preferred. Travel considered for the right opportunity.

Content Partnerships & Placements

The ADK Journal and our hub pages rank for high-intent Adirondack search traffic — hikers, skiers, paddlers, and travelers actively planning trips to the Park.

  • Sponsored blog posts & featured guides
  • Product reviews for ADK-appropriate gear
  • Display placements on high-traffic hub pages
  • Affiliate partnerships with brands we actually use
We only feature products and partners we'd recommend to a friend. No exceptions.

E-Commerce & Merch

Whether you're a lodging property putting your gift shop online or an event or organization looking to sell branded merch without holding inventory, we've built and scaled the kind of storefront that actually works.

  • Shopify store setup for brick-and-mortar shops, outfitters, and galleries
  • Print-on-demand merch programs for events, clubs, and organizations
  • Product photography, listing copy, and design support
Flexible engagements — full setup, handoff-and-run, or somewhere in between. Scoped per project.

How we work

A small operation means we keep things personal and straightforward. Here's what working together usually looks like.

01 Tell us about it

Send a quick email with the project, timeline, and what you're hoping for. The more context, the better.

02 We'll let you know

If it's a fit for our capacity and the brand, we'll follow up to scope it out. If not, we'll say so honestly — and refer you on when we can.

03 Deliver the work

Clear scope, clear deliverables, clear timeline. No retainers, no long contracts — just good work, done well.

Is this a fit?

We'd rather be upfront than waste your time. Here's a quick gut-check.

Probably a good fit

  • You're a regional tourism org, brand, or publication with an Adirondack audience
  • You're a local business that wants help getting online the right way
  • You have a specific project in mind with a realistic timeline and budget
  • You value quality and a genuine connection to the place over volume

Probably not a fit

  • Ongoing retainer work or full-time contracting
  • Projects with no connection to the Adirondacks or the outdoors
  • Long-distance travel-heavy shoots (remote-friendly only, with rare exceptions)
  • Brands or products we wouldn't personally recommend

Let's talk

Got a project in mind? Send an email and we'll get back to you within a few days. A little context goes a long way.

What to include
  • Who you are and what you're working on
  • What you're hoping we can help with (licensing, shoot, partnership, store setup, etc.)
  • Rough timeline and budget, if you have one
