Fish Creek Pond Campground

Fish Creek Pond Campground - Pure Adirondacks
Located in between the villages of Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake, Fish Creek Ponds is a popular campground in the Adirondack Park. It offers over 300 campsites, most of which are waterfront and have a sandy shoreline. There are sites available for everyone, ranging from those who camp with small tents or those traveling with a 40 foot RV. My family spent summer after summer re-visiting the campground, geared up for two weeks of non-stop fun at "The Creek" as we call it. There is water access to many rivers, ponds, and lakes in the area including Square Pond and Fish Creek Pond, which is accessible to motorized and non-motorized boats. When we wanted to get out for a longer ride, we'd take the channel in our boat over to the open water of the Upper Saranac Lake. Our typical day included lots of watersports (waterskiing/tubing), swimming, horseshoes, biking, and campfires. And not to forget, lots of food when we found the time to eat. Around 6pm every evening was the time when all the kids (myself being one of them) got excited about the ICE CREAM TRUCK as it passed through the campground. Tradition: 'You Hooing is a time tested tradition at Fish Creek Pond. Each night hundreds of campers on all sides of the ponds gather together by their camp fires and shout out 'Yoo Hoo' across the pond to campers on the opposite shore as quiet hour approaches. Both young and old are sure to participate! Just another fun activity at Fish Creek.' Amenities:
