Whiteface Mountain has a rich history and today is a destination enjoyed by many people year-round. The ski area officially opened in 1957 and is considered one of the top resorts for skiing & snowboarding in the northeast. Over the years it has hosted several major ski events, and most notably is known for hosting the alpine events during the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. During the warmer months, visitors enjoy taking advantage of the trails for mountain biking, riding the gondola to the summit of Little Whiteface, and even driving up the summit highway to take in the 360-degree views of the Adirondack Park.

🖼️ About the Framed Version
This print comes ready to hang in a simple, natural wood frame made from alder — a lightweight, semi-hardwood that keeps things sturdy without adding bulk. The frame is .75" (1.9 cm) thick, just enough to add structure without taking focus away from the artwork.
It’s finished with a clear Acrylite front to protect the print and includes hanging hardware on the back, so it’s easy to get on the wall.
A clean, timeless way to bring a bit of the Adirondacks into your home.
