Once used as observation points to detect forest fires, today many of the Adirondack fire towers are accessible to hikers to take in 360-degree views from the mountaintop. Depicted in this poster is an autumn scene of the Bald Mountain Fire Tower and a view to the northeast, looking at the Fulton Chain of Lakes.
