Drawing inspiration from a photo captured by landscape photographer Manuel Palacios, of Zone 3 Photography, this poster illustration depicts a wintery scene looking out from the summit of Wright Peak towards the rest of the Adirondack High Peaks Wilderness. Prominently portrayed is Mount Colden and New York State’s tallest peak, Mount Marcy in the distance. Every season hikers, backpackers, and climbers embark on a journey to explore this vast wilderness of peaks, cliffs, mountain lakes, rivers, and streams. Several make it a goal to summit all 46 High Peaks, sometimes over the span of just a few months or others over the span of several years.
